Haddington and Millrace are welcoming country-style communities where we support each resident to maintain their interests, familiar routines and connections to the people and places they love.
Haddington
This community is divided into five small households, with comfortable shared spaces and Carers who get to know you well. Haddington’s interior design is inspired by country homes, with heritage colours, fireplaces, indoor and alfresco dining spaces, and cottage gardens. One household is dedicated to caring for residents with advanced memory care needs.
Millrace
Millrace is a boutique country community that’s divided into small households that mirror the look and rhythm of home. With spacious private suites, each with their own ensuite, and kind and compassionate Carers, Millrace is located in a tranquil setting, and suites open directly onto sprawling lawns and courtyards.

Our new households have 28 private suites, each with their own ensuite, a country-style interior design scheme, a landscaped courtyard and other beautiful homely touches.

Our expert team is on-hand 24/7 to provide tailored care that matches your specific needs, delivered with kindness and compassion.
Everyday wellbeing
We support you to find comfort, enjoyment and meaning in your daily life. Our resident-driven Lifestyle Program includes a range of interesting activities and outings, and we’ll help you maintain your valued family and community connections. Residents are welcome to attend on-site Chapel services and receive pastoral support.
Everyday spaces
Haddington and Millrace are divided into smaller households that are designed to feel like home. There are welcoming lounge and dining spaces and traditional backyards with courtyards, lawns, flower beds and established trees. Your light-filled suite can be furnished and decorated as you like, so it feels like a master bedroom.
Everyday home cooking
When it comes to food, there’s plenty of choice – just like home. Everything is freshly made in our own kitchens, and our nutritious, seasonal menus offer variety and family favourites. You can choose to join your neighbours for meals in our dining rooms, or enjoy them in the privacy of your own suite.

We’re working hard to support Tenterfield Care to evolve and thrive, while preserving what makes Haddington and Millrace so special. Together with the wider community, we’re building a sustainable future for aged care in this region so locals can choose to remain living here as they age.

Haddington and Millrace are located just minutes away from each other in the historic town of Tenterfield, in the New England region of New South Wales. Loved for its familiar country charm, heritage-listed buildings and beautiful surrounding scenery, Tenterfield is 45 minutes from Stanthorpe and an hour north of Glen Innes.
