Light-hearted fun for Seniors Week

Embracing the theme of this year’s NSW Seniors Festival, Live Life in Colour, residents have been out and about, actively enjoying several special events hosted by the local Rotary, Lions and Tenterfield Film Clubs, and the CWA.

A group of fourteen enjoyed a delightful morning at the Tenterfield School of Arts, watching Laughter is the Best Medicine – a hilarious compilation of short skits from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, followed by delicious tea and scones where they caught up with locals.

“I haven’t seen those shows in years,” said one resident. “We had such a lovely morning and a good laugh!”

Others joined the lunch and bingo at the Tenterfield Golf Club – another lively event!
