Our proudest achievements of 2024
Here’s how Apollo Care, now 12 communities strong, has supported Tenterfield Care this year:
Our care:
- Established a new centralised kitchen and catering team focused on training, streamlining purchasing processes and enhancing the resident dining experience
- Implemented a new medication management system that saves doctors and staff time, improves safety and quality, and further streamlines resident care with electronic scripts, ordering and charting
- Launched our innovative Everyday Wellbeing Program for residents
Our team:
- We’ve welcomed 20 new staff to our team, with another 15 arriving soon
- Our staff engagement program boosts wellbeing, drives a positive and engaged mindset, and focusses staff on what’s best for everyone at Haddington and Millrace
- We leased 2 houses to provide affordable accommodation to new staff
Our community:
- We’ve invested over $2m and secured additional funding to complete the build and furnishing of Haddington’s two new Households with 28 private suites
- Plans are underway to enhance Haddington’s existing suites and Millrace’s common areas
Together, we’re making Tenterfield an even better place to live and work.
